Heat-accumulating underfloor heating with a heating cable is ideal for full operation with a controlled (formerly known as night) tariff. Using it, the floor can remain warm as the large heated mass releases heat evenly after the operating period ends. Thanks to advanced floor sensor control, unlike traditional underfloor heating systems, overheating does not occur. The BVF cable with a twin-core heating element runs back and forth, so it only needs to be connected from one side. Our products come with a 2.5 m factory-installed connection cable that has been tested multiple times.
BVF heating cables are designed exclusively using twin-wire technology, guaranteeing better operational efficiency and longer service life.
Heating cable technology is primarily intended for underfloor heating systems, but today there are many other, less common applications (e.g., industrial machinery and pipe heating, thermal bridges, indoor ice removal, etc.).
Installing heating cables in concrete can be done quickly and at very low cost. Fixation on concrete steel mesh or factory mounting rails.
Using the night tariff makes their operation even more economical.
Heat-accumulating underfloor heating systems with a heating cable are best suited for individual heating.
BVF WFD series twin-core heating cables have connection wires only on one side. No complex pre-planning is needed. The heating cable can be reliably fixed to the factory-installed mounting rail or to the concrete reinforcement mesh used to form concrete floors. No special layer ordering is required for installation; for the most economical operation, only insulation compliant with current standards is needed under the substrate.
The required heating efficiency per square meter can be adjusted according to the distance between heating cables. The distance between them depends on the building's heating energy needs and the thickness of the base concrete.
