The board performs thermal and sound insulation functions. The dry heating system is a universal and optimal surface heating system for floors and walls, suitable for both new and existing buildings. It is especially suitable for renovations and frame houses where concreting is limited or not possible at all. The boards have specially shaped grooves with aluminum plates inserted and folded for pipe installation. The aluminum reflector covers almost the entire surface of the panel, ensuring even heat distribution without any losses.
- Board with aluminum foil
- No additional ends needed, the board already has turn loops
- For underfloor heating
- For wall heating
- For ceiling heating
Board installation Boards are laid on a smooth, cleaned surface (OSB, chipboard, concrete, tiles, or wooden floors) It is recommended to glue the boards to the surface with PVA glue or special epoxy primer. The pipe is laid out. In the turn loops where the pipe is laid, cut the aluminum foil with a utility knife. Laminated floor panels can be laid on top, just remember to use an underlay for heated floors under the laminate. The thickness of the underlay does not matter, as long as the manufacturer specifies that the underlay is suitable for heated floors. If tiles need to be laid, Knauf Brown cement gypsum boards can be laid on the boards (one layer is sufficient). Gypsum boards serve as a support base for tile installation. Alternatively, a self-leveling cement mixture reinforced with fibers can be poured, with a recommended thickness of 6-12mm. The best suited for this are Weberfloor 4310 or Weberfloor 3030.
Gypsum boards are glued with PVA glue or special epoxy primer. Cement gypsum can be screwed with wood screws if the base is wooden, just make sure to mark the pipes accurately to avoid hitting them when screwing. Cement boards Cetris can also be used as a base, but note that they are very heavy. Boards installed on walls are fastened with glue or wood screws.
